NOTE

While Murchison can be run without purchasing the payware content users may find that it is extremely slow loading in TRAINZ

If you want to check out Murchison, before buying the content, you will need to go into Surveyor and select "Delete missing content" to remove the payware items.

For those who have purchased the PAYWARE content there have been no reported speed problems that have not been able to be sorted through a correct installation.(this of course does not apply to slow computers. However Murchison is designed to work well in medium spec machines)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
 
First time SP1.3 and UTC install
 
Step 1: Download and install UTC version route

Step 2: Download and Install "AURAN DOWNLOAD STATION CONTENT" listed above for TRS2004 installation

Step 3: Download and Install "CONTENT ON OTHER SITES for TRAINZ UTC INSTALLATION" listed above

Step 4: Ensure that you do not have Prowlers track files installed in the custom directory

When installing the CDP files you have just downloaded the track will now correctly install into the DOWNLOADS directory. If you have already manually installed Prowlers narrow gauge track files then you will need to manually delete the existing files

The track directories to be deleted are:

     \Program files \ Auran \ Trainz \ World \ Custom \ Track \ narrowgauge and

     \Program files \ Auran \ Trainz \ World \ Custom \ Track \ ng_clear

The watertank directory to be deleted is:

     \Program files \ Auran \ Trainz \ World \ Custom \ Scenery \ watertank_old

Step 5: Run TRS2004 and select Murchison logging - full version  or  Murchison logging - low poly

 

Slow loading in Surveyor (UTC)

 

Until you download and install the Payware Content of the Murchison logging Route you will receive Missing Content errors when loading Murchison. However if you experience Slow loading in Surveyor when you load the Murchison Route then

a: double check step 5 above for duplicate content

b: download and check the following Download Directory listing for missing freeware content.
